Austral Piano World – Goods Cancellation & Return Policy
At Austral Piano World, we strive to ensure every customer is completely satisfied with their purchase. However, we understand that circumstances may change, and orders may need to be cancelled or goods returned.
Order Cancellations
- Orders cancelled within 7 days of placement will be accepted.
- Please note that merchant bank charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund amount.
- Cancellations after 7 days may be subject to additional fees or may not be accepted if goods have already been dispatched or prepared for delivery.
Returns
- Returns will only be accepted where goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
- To initiate a return, customers must contact Austral Piano World within 7 days of delivery.
- Returned goods must be in original condition, with all packaging, accessories, and documentation included.
- Refunds or exchanges will be processed once the goods have been inspected and approved.
Special Orders
- Items that are custom-ordered, personalised, or modified (such as pianos fitted with silent systems or specific finishes) cannot be cancelled or returned, except where required by law.
Refunds
- Refunds will be made via the original method of payment.
- Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to be processed once approved.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
